As early investors finally have the opportunity to sell their Facebook shares, the company's stock (
NASDAQ:FB) is trading once again under the $20 price point, hitting a new 52 week low of 19.69. Even more telling, the share price is currently down around 6% on the day. Facebook warned the market yesterday that there would be a downturn today. Today marks the expiration of the first lockup rule. In other words, Facebook set multiple milestones in order to gradually release shares of early investors and limit sell orders in the early days after its IPO.
